Pipeline Masters Remains On Hold

Competition has been called off for a third consecutive day at the Billabong Pipe Masters in Memory of Andy Irons, with small waves on offer again at Pipeline.

Stop No. 10 of 10 on the ASP World Championship Tour (WCT), the Billabong Pipe Masters is set to host a dramatic finish to the ASP Top 34 season, with current rankings frontrunner Joel Parkinson (AUS), 31, and reigning 11-time ASP World Champion Kelly Slater (USA), 40, battling for the crown.

"The surf is still small here at Pipeline so there will be no competition again today," Marty Thomas, Vans Triple Crown Contest Director said on Tuesday. "The new swell on the horizon is materializing nicely for a restart to competition on Friday, but we'll still return tomorrow morning to make another call."
