Next month's Winter X Games in France will not feature a snowmobile freestyle demonstration as organisers investigate the safety of the discipline.
The move comes after the death of Caleb Moore in January at the X Games in Aspen. Moore was killed while taking part in a snowmobile freestyle demonstration.
The 25-year-old was attempting a backflip when his skies caught on a board, launching him face-first onto the snow, with his 500-pound snowmobile landing on top of him.
"Our review of snowmobile freestyle continues, and in the meantime we have decided to forego the planned demonstration freestyle event at X Games Tignes," ESPN said in a statement.
