BKSA Hits Porthcawl For 3rd Year Kitesurfing Fest
- Tuesday October 23 2007
E365 -- For an organisation that's pretty much limited to cold water and unpredictable wind, the British Kitesurfing Association has done well to keep the kiters out on the flats for the past few years. Now celebrating its 3rd birthday, the BKSA Wavemasters comes to Porthcawl, South Wales for 4 days of riding. The location is apparently one of the best for wind and waves, with the riders heading for the perfect location to find waves each day.
What: BKSA Kitesurfing
Where: Porthcawl, UK
When: 25-28 Oct
This time around, there are 4 classes, Mens, Ladies, Seniors (over 35) and Juniors and each competition will be rider judged and a winner will be announced at the end of each day via a ballot or other suitable methods.
There's a hotel nearby that's obviously picked up on the town's popularity for action sports. It's called the Rush Extreme. Grab the report on Extreme365!
