Copper Mountain To Host USASA Nationals

E365 -- From March 29th to April 5th, 2008, the Swatch TTR 3-Star USASA Nationals continues as riders fight for another 550 TTR ranking points and a $50 000 prize purse.
Each year, hundreds of male and female snowboarders descend on Copper Mountain, USA to compete against the top regional finishers in Slopestyle, Superpipe and other snow sport disciplines in their quest to become national champions.
American riders Elizabeth Beerman who sits in the TTR Top 10, TTR World No. 28 Drew Brighton and Trevor Jacob have confirmed their presence in Colorado amidst a huge field of eager riders ready to show the world what theyve got.
The USASA is a grassroots snowboard organization with over 5000 members who compete in more than 500 events in 36 regional series across the US. Competitors range in age from 7 - 70 and represent a group of riders passionate about the sport of snowboarding.
The USASA National Championships have been the final event of the season for these riders for close to 20 years. This year will mark the 19th annual USASA Nationals and promises to be the biggest and best yet.
