
Kelly Slater has topped the list of ESPN's and X-Games' current 50 most influential figures in action sports.
Although he finished second behind Joel Parkinson in this year's ASP World Championship, Slater is the most decorated surfer of all time with 11 world titles and 51 World Championship Tour wins to his name and is number one on the list.
American motorsports icon Travis Pastrana, who has won X-Games gold medals in supercross, motocross, freestyle motocross, and rally racing, sits second with skateboarding legend Shaun White third.
The 26-year-old White has won two Olympic halfpipe gold medals, produced the first perfect SuperPipe run in X-Games history in 2012 and has also won 22 X-Games gold medals in Slopestyle, SuperPipe and Vert Skateboarding.
White's fellow skateboarder Rob Dyrdek is fourth with snowboarder Travis Rice and filmmaker Curt Morgan fifth and sixth respectively on the back of their success with movies like That's It That's All and The Art of Flight.
Co-founder of DC Shoes and skateboarding, snowboarding and motocross competitor Ken Block is seventh with freeskier Sarah Burke, 18-year-old skateboarder Nyjah Huston and the lgendary Tony Hawk rounding out the top 10.
